Trudeau is due to stand for election in October of 2025 and it appears he is pushing hard, like Biden, to cause as much havoc as possible before he is kicked out. This crap, which is exactly what it is, will all have to be reverse which take time, effort, and money and they know it. It will be interesting to see if the Canadians tell their government to go pound sand. I don't think they have a 2A but perhaps they should consider it in the near future. The thing is, an individual, organization or government can issues all the orders they want; however, if they issue an order that will not be obeyed then they are finished as an authority. Trump mentioned making it the 51st state. I'd rather see each of the 10 provinces become one. Or combine a couple, if needed, to make a high enough population to consider it. Big population centers, like Toronto, can be their own state, so the conservatives in the other areas aren't ruled by a large liberal population center. Just under 4 million square miles, and 40 million population (estimated for Q3, 2024). Good beer, warm....well, you know! And they've been good in a fight, in the past. Probably glad to be rid of King Chuck, as well.

Unfortunately I think Canada is too far gone. Almost all of them that I know already are skiddish around firearms. Their "conservative" population is pretty far left when you compare them to an American right wing Constitutionalist. I don't judge it but that's just the way it is with them after many generations of this garbage. They might be generally nice folks but being nice doesn't help you when you are being herded off into cattle cars.
If we aren't careful, Canada will be the blueprint for the US. Not in my lifetime, but probably in the next generation.
