Archery games .... do you play ?

we would play around on the range ... since the bass-hole is about to lose his land .. we have been getting together on the one guys farm ...
since the 3d targets are still on the bass-holes land and we cannot retrieve them.. we got some tough packing foam .. and started playing games ...
first game is :
life savers at 30 yards ,,, at .$0.25 a shot ...the one who breaks it is the winner of the pot ... the others have to drink a shot

second game is :
target clays at 60 yards ... same deal as the first game but you have to bust the clay in the middle ring ... outer ring you get the pot ... middle ring you get the pot and the others take a shot of booze ...
...

the third game:
is the archery target with a dart board on it ... (30 or 40 yards)
as we play cricket ... rules are simple ...
any triples or doubles .. non shooting players drink a shot ...
and bull shots ... all drink a shot ...
(if you hit the bull before your time ...you drink .. not the others)

just a few games we have been tinkering with till we find out what is going on with the land we have been paying to be a part of .... if anyone has any addition to the games that would make them more fun ... let me know ... they are fun as it is but .. but i have had to call the mrs a few times to bring me home
other than that they are great games to play

 

Not really big in archery any more, but in my day, we used to shoot clay pigeons out to 60 or 70 yards, a miss was a drink, and a hit was every body drink! We also had swinging targets from tree branches, same rule's, you miss, you drink, you hit, every body drinks!

 

I used to shoot on weekends at the Fred bear museum but they did away with the 3d shoot so I just shoot card board disc thrown into the air with my long bow or recurve

 

Wandering the woods, stump shooting.

I don't recommend putting marshmallows on the end of your broadheads though. And wear appropriate PPE at all times.

I'd love to get into some games like that. Haha.

 

I never turned archery into a drinking game but do love to go to archery parks with friends and shoot targets for dollars.

 

Accuracy may decline in proportion to the increase in alcohol intake and laughter.

 

you should look into archery golf my dad used to do that with his buddys in the 80s

 

we do this with beer ,,, not bourbon .. ,,, .....
