An email hit my inbox today from KAK with their new AR bolt. 1000's of rounds and I have never had a failure to eject. K-SPEC AR15 Bolt- 5.56/ 300 Blackout, Dual Ejector
Kinda like adding a second trigger pad to a mouse trap. Down side is the weakened bolt structure and added complexity. Only possible up side could be very consistent ejection in a neat little pile at the range. Nobody at my range saves their 5.56 or .300 Blackout brass anyway.
The bolt is still going to fail in the same spot. It will probably break lugs by the extractor if it doesn't break at the cam pin. Usually cheap aftermarket ones break in half and milspec break lugs.
A Solution looking for a Problem! If your already having ejector issues, this ain't gonna fix it! Besides, a spare bolt and parts in your grip is WAY cheaper and easier at getting you back in the fight!
