Anyone Worked as Uber Eats and/or Door Dash Driver?

I'm considering a little side gig to bring in a few $$ and either Uber Eats or Door Dash delivery driver seem to be viable options. I'm retired, have a car with good gas mileage in town, live in a medium size town (~260K), and have checked to make sure auto insurance is reasonable.

As long as your car doesn't have a salvaged title and it's not too old, it can probably pass the inspection requirement.

Find out on Google what the peak hours of orders is and then show up at the restaurants before anyone else does to get customers.

Are you near an airport? If you want to make good $$ on Uber hang out around airports and learn the flight schedules. What you want is to take people on the farthest rides possible. I recommend observing what comes through in an afternoon while waiting in a cellphone lot. I have retired friends who generate an excellent income this way.
