Any Survival At the End of the World Comics/Graphic Novels, past and present, other than The Walking Dead you'd recommend as a good read? It can have any premise like Aliens, Zombies, Pandemic, Nuclear War, etc.
No recommendations, as I tend to read text only literature. This one looks interesting though I doubt that there is much of prepper/survival value in it though.
No one survives if you do not procreate.. 2 people paired off should produce 2 offspring. BTW, Life is a Sexually Transmitted Disease that is always Fatal. No one gets out alive or lives forever. So have sex like your species continuation vs extinction depends upon it.
EDIT: Missed that you were specifically interested in graphic novels, but you should still check out my recommendation below. Anything by @DKR is a good start. Good, realistic stories that are well researched D.K. Richardson
There is no requirement or obligation for any individual to have procreative sex, for the sake of continuing the existence of humankind. Our species has more than enough who voluntarily enjoin in that project to create an overpopulated planet of humans for which there are inadequate resources to sustain them; and quite frankly, humanity would be much better off if some individuals refrained from procreating, as their progeny have / will become a bane upon humanity's continued viability. Sometimes, the act of attempting procreation, or just plain non-procreative recreational sexual congress has been the death of a number of humans....in some cases, horses were involved. Company cops huge payout for sex death Death during consensual sex - Wikipedia I don't think 'The Story of Sex: From Apes to Robots' is what Ed had in mind, when he was inquiring about comic books / graphic novels. Unless, Ed was ok with recommendations for graphic graphic non-fiction??? https://www.h-net.org/reviews/showpdf.php?id=50206
Seems like I read someplace that it takes 2.3 live births per each pairing to maintain a stable population. That's to account for miscellaneous incidents that prevent the offspring from reproducing themselves. Say like childhood accidents.
End world series if you can find them I think David Robinson wrote them but not positive will have to look up
Well Ed, I have no idea how your request for reading devolved into the Penthouse forum, but I'm an avid reader. I'm not a big fan of graphic novels, but I'd recommend John Ringo's Live Free or Die or Black Tide Rising. I recommend them as Ringo features a graphic novelist as his hero in one series and a main character in the other.
yall should read up on Fallout 1 Fallout 2 Fallout 3 Fallout New Vegas Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 they are somewhat similar to a movie or graphic novel and have a lot of detail and backstory
Despite the Cheeziness I very much enjoyed the End World series. The other series I enjoyed was Death Lands. Kind of liked Outlanders (James Axler). Can find the End World Series on Amazon but they ain't cheap as that series has kind of reached collector status. Pretty Much the same with Death Lands. Outlanders not so bad as its a bit newer than the 80s and early 90s. A decent TV series that only ran 2 seasons before wrapping up is Jerimiah. Again if you can find it.
I enjoyed the Short lived T.V. series Jericho. (First season was better) I'm surprised some cable network hasn't resurrected it. They never said why there was the nuclear attack.
I didn't get that much into Jericho but didn't it come out that the nuke attackes were just one big false flag.
Dear Penthouse Letters, So I was out adjusting the moisture evaporators on my homestead out on the salt flats. I hears a slight crunch behind me and when I turned around there was this pair of mutant zombie chicks sneaking up on me. Well, I grabs my blaster and was gunna shoot them like normal, but just before I pull the trigger the one on the right stumbles a bit and her halter top falls down. Well, where I expected to see two things I saw three. THREE! I stood there stunned for a moment with my mouth hanging open when the other one asks me if I have any silk neck ties, a blindfold and jumper cables...
