Could be,,,,,all the rage about banning semi auto's,,,,now we'll get to banning all firearms . I'm with you,,,,a 60 second response time....have they told how that was able to happen ???? I swear I would like to think that we live in a country that we didn't have to worry about our .Gov doing something like this ,,,but I think those times have passed . It seem's some of our officials , will stop at nothing to retain their power , or will stop at nothing to continue their agenda . Sad times are amongst us .

At first when I heard about no ID or finger prints on the shooter I thought the guy was a patsy but now as news continues to be released, we learn this man was very angry with the paper. I do wonder if he was on meds or supposed to be. He definitely planned it.

 

I haven't heard a lot of details about this, and will give it a month or so to settle down and get all the available facts.

I would like to comment on fingerprint and firearm serial number leading to identification.
Chances of that are remote, except on TV.

We shall see how it shakes out, but it's more likely that he parked his car nearby, or used a credit card to pay an Uber driver, who called in a weird guy with what might be a gun.

Bingo! I would like to know how they were able to respond within sixty seconds. One minute before the shooter was engaging officers. Seems like they were waiting for him. Plus they trained last week for this type of event.

Sound familiar? Men with a grudge have been killing people since the beginning of time. In 1995 it would be a local story. Today it is instant worldwide news.

 

During my life time we have closed nearly all the state mental institutions, de institutionalized the mental ill and placed them in non secure facilities and for all practical purposed made them a privileged class as handicaped and disabled with access to social security and other funding. There is no effective cure for most mental illness conditions, only medications and such to manage their symptoms and our jails and prisons are full of the mental ill as that is about the only way to remove them from the streets without infringing on their rights to control their medical care. Even the most effective medications require that the patients have the ability to acquire them, have the correct dosage, and take the medications at the right time, in the right amount, and without harmful interactions. In my limited observations, many of those who are mentally ill or retarded, another word we are no longer supposed to use, are very open to being manipulated into doing things that are not in their best interests. That ranges from buying drinks for their "friends" with their state supplied money, to being sexually exploited, to criminal involvement and murder. Those who are now classed as bipolar, used to be called manic depressive, seem to commit many of the mass murders that we so often read about, and the media always focuses on the weapon used not the deranged individual using it. It isn't a tinfoil hat observation to note that certain small groups, street gangs of people of color, people with drug or alcohol abuse problems, and those that are mentally ill or retarded, among others, commit a much greater percentage of the crimes in the USA than their percentages of the population and yet almost any attempts to use these facts to limit crime is attacked as "targeting" and interfering with those individuals "civil rights". As a limited example the recent media circus over lynching etc of people of color. While I don't condone it, the frenzy over isolated deaths over the last 20 years, seems to be high lighted and the massive numbers of deaths due drugs and people of color killing other people of color is ignored.
I do not think the event was a false flag operation, it is instead yet another example of the news being modified to achieve a desired goal by the liberals, rather than a presentation of the facts. It is all an illusion and do not look behind the curtain to see the puppet master. Don't talk about the deranged individual, religious or otherwise, only talk about the evil weapon used and ignore the desired goal, disarming the people, and not the problems we are facing with mental health, poverty, racial relations, etc.

No AR-15 Assault Rifle
No Glock handgun
Didn't have 100's of rounds in the car
No social media/facebook page located where he was a gun nut/white power/nazi/gay/transgender
Wasn't at a school
Didn't take hours to resolve
Didn't kill himself-wasn't killed by cops to avoid the truth coming out

 

Just because he lost the earlier lawsuit against the newspaper doesn't mean he was in the wrong. Media acts with a degree of impunity because courts allow them to.

We all know that one person who just can't let shit go. Copycats may be jostling for room on the subway headed for CNN now.

 

Has anyone pulled up the location's of donut shops vs this newspaper?
