I only got my first 9x19 in 2016 I picked up plenty of ammo just hitting sales. If I can pocket nearly $1 per round I'm selling my factory sealed 9mm ammo.
Yep looked on gun broker and FMJ 9mm ammo is going on auction with 13hrs left which means it will end at rhe perfect time to get a lot of bids for over 80 cents a round. $1 per round is within reach.
I've been peeking in side sporting goods, LGS and farm stores during my travels across state this vacation season. Only thing around here is bird shot, some 22lr, no pistol, no rifle except: 7.62x39, 30-30, .270, 7mm mag, some .350 legend and .444 marlin. did see a few boxes of .308 on the shelf but a feller was picking them up as i passed by. I was actually surprised by how bare the shelves were. Granted I wasn't look for any ammo because i've got rocks all over my yard for the sling shot. The pump up bb gun will take most critters if'n i get close enough. Something is going on.
wait til the 1st quarter of 2021 and the shelves will begin to stay filled - the panic buyers will ease off and end their frenzy by Thanksgiving ... with the shelves full it'll be a matter of time until the prices drop and sales start in - could be falltime 2021 ...
I guess you could say the ammo shortage is Trumps fault and you would be right .I hope you are right but I think it’s going to be at summer 2022,or later. You have all these new gun owners with a box of ammo that are all going to push things back when they start buying.
Ammo shortage might ease-up if Trump doesn't lose, like he's trying to. If he loses, I fear we may be in for a permanent shortage. Of course it won't matter if there is nothing to fire ammo from, will it.. I just hope that all those new firearm owners don't vote for biden.
The way the democratic brain works is they think new gun ban laws passed won't apply to them, just to other people.
While I'm here, has everyone heard of HR5717? From what I've heard it would be pretty nasty if it passes.

My wal mart has 12 box’s .243,10 box’s .308,and a few other hunting calibers. RimFireCentral has 10 box’s 9mm for $22.00 box for sale. That’s not a bad price, for reloaded ammo. Reloaded by Atlanta Arms, 115 grain
HOW MUCH DID THE 3030 COST YOU I GOT A FEW BOXES AT WALMART///15---.17.00 PER BOX OF 20, LOOKS LIKE AN OLD PRICE
Local Walmart still has most popular hunting cartridges, which is all they had anyway, since they dropped all pistol ammo. I saw .243, .270, 30-06, .300 Win Mag, .30-30, .25-06, lots of .350 Legend, and a surprise...Two boxes of 222 Rem. The only rimfire was a single box of .17 WSM.
I don't expect it to come back, but they may be feeling the pinch from the decision. Often the ONLY reason I went to Walmart was to see what ammo they had. People that don't visit your store aren't buying anything, and it's not just the ammo sale that was lost.
I went to our local gun show today. A couple friends asked me to pick up some 380 and some 5.56. I got 10 boxes of 5.56 for $150.00 for my sister in law. The 380 was scarce. The only thing I found was $60.00 a box so I left it there... All I can say is I'm glad I already have enough in my safe for me and Mrs. Alf.
