A natural insulation bed camp

    Palm fronds for a vapor barrier to keep the damp from coming up into the insulating material. Then starting on the grass.

    You need more insulating material than you think. It compacts.

    A long fire and a wool blanket. Temps in the 30's that night.

    LOL, it does get cold in Fla. On our bug out to Ocala Nat with some folks the frost was 1/4" thick. Got cold the first night but was ready the next.
