I ran one in a unit voluntold to participate in Pisa, Italy. All I remember is pain and hoping that shitty tower would go ahead and fall over on my CO and the horse he rode in on.

 

Never was that foolish. Did support others.

 

I don't understand. Are we talking about a marathon or what? I've ran numerous marathons but I don't think that is what you mean when referring to 26.2...?

 

26.22. No-one I know cares about two hundredths either way.

I believe you get a 26.2 sticker when you complete a marathon. Half is 13.1. I like poking fun at things so I started this crappy thread.

Most people don't know that when he got to Athens he's said "Joy to you we have.... we have.... oh sheite!" and then had to run back to Marathon to get the rest of the message. It turns out not 26.2 it's 78.6.
