1911 Cutaway model

    Wanted to share. Just a cool cutaway model to show the internal workings of a 1911 pistol.

    Nicely done! But I'd hate to render my 1911 (the economy M1991A1 model) inert. It would be interesting to see other pistols done this way - a P08 Luger perhaps, and an 1896 Mauser. (y)

    Does it have to be inert? Just keep your fingers out of the moving parts.

    Remember, a traditional non functional "cutaway" isn't a firearm and makes an excellent home for your spicy parts, the ones that aren't any kind of drop in auto something or other, you know the thing.

    Same friend who loaned me this one has a Glock cutaway as well. I might do a video on that as well.
