    The entire series gives a good general background for understanding how things are made and how they may be repaired. The best part is that it was done in the period before everything went to CNC and automation. The level of technology is such that it could be used with the tools and power sources that would be around after TSHF. Some of these tools exist in my basement and if I am gone, it would help someone else learn how to use them.
