The president of El Salvador clamped down hard on gangs, and supposedly Rubio has cut a deal to send immigrants down there.
I have no mercy for rapists killers and dope dealers but keep in mind if offenders are kept like this ever get out (which is not assured) the officers had better shoot first and ask questions later when apprehending them.

Thousands of tattooed inmates pictured in El Salvador mega-prison

Prisoners are fed rice, beans, pasta, and hard-boiled eggs and are forced to eat with their hands as the guards consider forks and knives to be potential weapons. Prisoners wear a uniform consisting of a white shirt and white shorts and their heads are shaved every five days. Prisoners are allowed outside of their cells for only 30 minutes per day to exercise while shackled. They can also work in the prison factory to produce fabric. Each cell has two Bibles for prisoners to read.Prisoners are not allowed to receive visitors or make phone calls.

I heard about that prison deal Rubio made . If Trump makes that deal and ships some of our convicts down there ,,, they're gonna really hate it ,, this cushy little gig they have here will sure be missed .
Look out for the screaming from the democrats on this .

El Salvador was a war zone with the highest crime and murder rates in the world, then El Presidente cracked down! Last year the number of murders for the entire country was 114! El Presidente is very popular with the people. I remember LEOs saying years ago, that if they could arrest 10% of the people that they could reduce 90% of the crime. El Salvador is making it happen!

I think most, if not all, of those prisoners are confined there for life.
Sucks to be them. Maybe they should have made better choices.

The Trump administration should see if we can strike a deal with the government there to build another one right along side of their existing prison. We can pay them so much per prisoner per year (just enough to subsist, feed 'em cheap) to keep them confined, forever. It'd be good for terrorists, illegals who commit violent crimes, those convicted of child trafficking and the worst of the worst criminals we now have confined in our prisons here if they're sentenced to life.

Carry out the sentences here for those who are to be fried.

Make it well known that if you commit a serious crime in the US and you don't get the ultimate penalty, chances are good that's where you're going.

That deal about them housing our criminals is in the works . Rubio and Trump are saying they would take our prisoners for a small fee ,, which would still be cheaper than what it costs us to keep them .
This will be something else for the democrats to whine about.
Trump might better slow down on all this " Winning " ,, all these liberal tears is gonna cause the ocens to rise ,, and the libnuts are gonna really go crazy about that ,, more global warming .

I have no love for the prison population….but remember if this gets in a a policy then with a change of Govt it could be you or your loved one sent there. Your actions today can be made a crime tomorrow….. your Jan 6 folks are a great example……

Definitely something to consider. Things can change drastically with a new administration. Just ask the democrats. (y)

if you got life and are legititamly convicted you dont deserve this. how many us citizens will wind up there as the aussie points out.
yes if you really fucked up you deserve life in prison. you do not lose your human rights. in america we celibrate prisoners getting sodimized as punishment and act like it is ok. its not. how we treat prisoners is a direct reflection of our socity as a whole.
im not saying they dont deserve incarceration or punishment. im saying celibrating abuse of human rights and sodomy is wrong.
this would not end well for us. this is not us. evil cant be used for good.

I see your point ,,, but our cushy little jail system isn't much of a deterrent for repeat offenders.
I know a boy that used to work for me ,, he ended up in the local jail for a month and a half or so on a murder charge,, after their investigations,, they dropped it to self defence .
But when he came back to work ,, he said a lot of them black guys would go out and commit crimes just to be thrown back in jail , to have somewhere to sleep ,, and get some steady food. Some would get locked up again just go in and visit with their buddies that were doing longer sentences.
There needs to be a deterrence.

i compleatly agree. it is a pendulum and now it has swung to the liberal side. 2 years ago i found a guy camping in one of my storage units. in november. his moms unit. this guy is institutionalised and would have beat me to death for 3 hots and a cot. im armed so he backed down. i know they are out there. punishment for the crime, absolutly. this is a bad idea and would swing the penulum to far. there is no happy middle.
i would support death over this prison. if i find myself celabrating some ones pain and misiery it is time for some introspection as to why thats ok.
    just me i guess.

If people are warehoused like they are in El Salvador, you almost have to keep them locked up forever since they will do everything they can to NEVER go back.

Exactly…..and if it’s not a life sentence they will without question come out much worse than they went in.

Well, then hang them. If a person is a career criminal, a '3-time loser' or commits a crime that is a life sentence then put them to death instead. I would like to see Americans vote on this as I feel strongly it would show they support it. I have never understood the life sentence for heinous crimes, it makes no sense to me. Furthermore, I do not understand those people that are so against it. Sorry, but I just don't get it.

  17. I have worked in the Department of Corrections for 16 years.
There is a certain % of the population that view prison as a part of their lifestyle.
They work the system and milk the bennies.
For some of them, this is the only structure they have ever known.
I have had guys tell me they wanted to take my class but did not have enough time.
I would tell them they could pursue it in a trade school outside prison and they would reply. "I will just do it on my next bit!"
