Well I wasn't able to get home last weekend. But I did make it home this weekend. I take my D.O.T. test on Monday so with any luck I'll have my CDL then. I have found out that people are @$$holes or just plain stupid. The trucks we drive have student driver palster all over them and yet they will cut you off and pull out in front of you like your driving something that can be stopped on a dime. If I see student driver on a car I give them all the room I can becasue they don't know what the #&!! they are doing and I don't want to be hit. These f'ing idiots are cutting people off that are driving 35-40,000 lb. trucks for fun I think. But other than that everythhing is going pretty well. OGM
I understand what you are talking about. I used to drive for my dad when I was in high school and college (no CDL....) starting at about 16, I am always on the lookout for trucks and their loads. Hauling a tanker full of liquid O2 through Houston makes you a little more careful than the average driver.
Ok it's time to stay off the roads I passed my CDL. I just have a temp license while .gov decides wether or not they are going to let haul hazmat. OGM

If your headed across 50 or 70 some time and the load isnt to hot give me a shout and maybe I can make it up and buy you a cup of coffee. Glad to hear you found something too. I still trying to work things ouut to hobble together a few part time gigs to make a full wage.

I'm over the road so any roads in the lower 48 that are legal for tractor trailers and maybe a few that aren't. OGM
