I mounted an Impala today...

 

You got that right. I can't believe shes already 9, seems like just yesterday she was being born. I just got done reading the Declaration of Independence to her, and talked to her about her Constitutional responceabilties. I figure she's half way to becoming an adult, she needs to know what is expected of her.

Decided, that despite all other concerns, and necessary supplies, and equipment, I would save up every penny and buy my own little piece of dirt, out in the middle of nowhere.....
The first of March I'll have all the funds for the downpayment and the first months pamyent of only $200.00.
Not bad.
I asked for a place that was heavily wooded, secluded and in the middle of nowhere...it only took 1 realtor about 30 seconds, to come up with what I was looking for!
He was a bit surpised mind you...
And asked me not once but twice, are you sure about this?
Are you wanting to be a hermit?
"Oh yeah"!!!, I answered!
My kinda place ( I'd be happy with a cave or an alligator infested swamp!)
I have 4 1/2 acres of land, on a plateau, that is nearly black from the satellite images, from the tree growth there!
No need for any fence posts, the trees are so close together, I can literally staple the fencing to the trees!
Most are 20 to 60+ feet in height, and easy for me to get in, under, and around, under the forest canopy!
Even with aerial views and you can't see the ground....!
Junipers that have no leaves to drop and shed....Green year round, and when covered with a blanket of snow, you could'nt find yourself in there!
Even with both hands in broad daylight!

The realtor said he'd had it for a long long time, as there are NO roads in or out of the place and I'd have to make my own...(awww.... that's a shame,.... no tracks for anyone to follow!)
But, I'll have to get either a 4wd vehicle or at least a horse, but, the nearest town is over 10 miles away...(yup that's PERFECT for me!)
Since then I have made friends with some other people, and guees what they have?
HORSES!
My first idea was sled dogs, too hard to keep them fed all winter, and NOT cheap to obtain...then, there's building of my own sled...
Maybe some other time.....!
I'm ecstatic over the land, and I haven't even seen it yet!
In fact right now. it's impossible (nearly), to get to it as they are snowed in with over 3 feet of snow up there in the past 4 -6 days!

Severe migraines as of late, pretending it's the flu....(so what's to pretend?)
Temporarily suffering ( ? ) from lack of information/intel input...
Not sure what that means....may not even care....
Suxs bein' sick and not being able to get much done...
So much to do, so little time, and no help!
I'm gonna get rid of that stupid dog!
At least the cat's chase mice, when they are not sleeping, 23 1/2 hours a day!
Must be me ?....Nah, I don't buy into that for a second.....
I'll take the 5th, and blame the Government for not takin' care of me,
Like they did for all of those after Katrina!

I'm in favor of this being a Natl Holiday...just 'cause.

 

Real economic stimulus would be taking all of that money and paying it directly to the citizens that voted.

You can't spend money of you don't have it. Economic stimulus is not taking a big pot of money and giving it to corporations that have been ripping folks off for years, departments of government that do nothing, or members of Hamas to move to the US.
