Given the state of the economy these days one would think the most obvious TSHTF senario would be economic colapse. The great depression all over again only probably worse. Simply because people these days are soft LOL What would your list of priorities be and what do you think it would look like.
Shelter Food/water Healthcare I have no idea what it will look like. Only time will tell. 'Tis best to be prepared for any coming storm; from nature or man.
Shelter (and concealment) Food/water (especially storage) Personal Protection Medical Supplies (healthcare) Education and Data Resource Storage Transportation Communication Just an added take on what Tracy already listed earlier, suited to my own desires.
Silver coins...hmm, that reminds me of an analogy of how Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al, have shown to be traitors to the nation. Remember that Judas betrayed the Lord Jesus for a bag of silver coins?
Water is no. 1 Food is no. 2 Shelter would be No. 3 Living in the middle of the desert.... No one wants to go there, as there's no food or water, (so they think)! That's where I'll be! Safe and no one will even bother to travel out there! What do I think it will look like? Oh man.....really want to ask that question? Well, if you must! I see massive starvation, riots, civil insurrection, (what else?), then along comes martial law. The gangs will take over the major cities.....The local PD cannot out man or out shoot them, due simply to their vast numbers! Then the Bad things really begin to happen. Trucks will no longer deliver food to the local stores, those that try will be stopped and/or hi-jacked.... Besides, They simply won't be able to afford the fuel to make deliveries! Same for the PD, fire dept.'s, and ambulances... Social services will shut down, and then,....... "chaos". Inner cities will be a disaster area.... Then along will follow the suburbs...... Even certain outlying areas won't be safe anymore..... Best keep your heads down and stay out of sight from others.... That's what I see. Not pretty, and to tell you the absolute truth, The thought of what may come, is worse than anything I faced in Vietnam....and I'm 57! Bill
I have been looking into some really affordable land in Nevada...but, I lived there before, and although there is some hunting, the fact remains that I will still be in the middle of a freaking desert. Still weighing my options. But, 40 acres for less than 10 grand is a steal.
