Speech was OK, but again I've heard he used a teleprompter. Liked his oath of office though !!!! How hard is it to "repeat after me"?
Yeah. Does anybody else get tired of hearing this nonsense? I mean, I like to rub things in once in a while, but this is ridiculous. So many people have forgotten their "Fore bearers", as was mentioned by the "President" in his inauguration. It is no wonder why the corporate media can get away with this blatant advertisement to tyranny. The era of the President serving the will of the People has long ended, as he is not a servant to the people, he is a man who assumes the exchanged power. remember, remember....
To me, the whole thing was as blatant as the coronation of some KING! Or, as some would have it, "the second coming...." Man this is too weird...this guy is just a man, but from all the hoopla, you'd think that we were in the presence of a messiah! I do not like, nor dislike Obama.... But, he is just another politician to me, nothing more than that. Just some guy playing puppet, to the real masters of the country. Seeing the world through not-so-rose-colored-glasses I guess...? I like how it turned into a black power sorta thing. I mean yes he is black and all the power to him, but its more like he got the presidency, be happy about that, not the fact that he is of African American Decent. (PS. So was Jefferson)
I was looking at pictures posted on yahoo of the inauguration celebrations and noticed Obama, Biden, and even Biden's wife using Bush's U of Texas longhorn sign (iluminist's hand sign) as they waved at the people. That cinched it for me. I joined this forum today and figure I really need to get in gear with my preparations.
Notice how the media didn't make the same mistakes this year. I imagine it will take some time before we see those pics widely spread, and the Bush connection has yet to be made.
they re-swore barky in the white house, but he's not the first president to retake the oath... We need to research that oath thing. Saw the second oath yesterday on MSNBC, the same people who bring you prison shows in the evening. Change, I'm changing .243 into .308.
