Well its been over the last couple months but the short list is that rebuilt my travel kitchen (large tote full of spices and the most basic staples with a few pans for cooking while traveling), a Ford Explorer thats in good shape mechanicly and gets great milage but beat to hell body so got it for $600, paid down some debt and got a P3AT for a BUG or times when just want/need something smaller to carry, 4 15 round mags for the Beretta 92, a spare straight edge razor and a new oil stone and ceramic rod, a new small dome tent and sleeping bag.

There more but cant think of it off the top of my head. Oh and got stuff straightened out for my Pell grants to bring school/ police accademy a step closer.

Being a holiday week, I didn't do much in regards to putting things away. However, I finally finished my SERE kit and put in a mini survival kit in my spec ops survival sheath...ain't much, but sometimes the smallest things turn out to be used the most.

Made up 250 of a planned 500 rounds of .38 Special +P loads, for the SHTF stash. I'll finish them this week.
Range-tested earlier-made .45ACP loads using Bullseye powder - very successfull! Good thing - I now have ten pounds of Bullseye!
The weekend-long rain kept me from doing some planned things out in the yard.

Not exactly putting up any stores. I picked up a few little silver pieces this morning with a big dip in prices. I've been doing some very much neglected planning though. I think that is more important than pantry stuffing, for me at this time.

A note about water. What if...during a meltdown there were no electricity. Some would say 'I have a generator'. But what if gas were a problem? The solution--a Well Bucket. Drop it down a well and pull up the clean water. I hope it's ok to direct you to my website. I make these, they work and will last forever. If you have one, you may be the only person in your area that can access clean water. That would be something...

You got one to reach 400 feet? (Linky no workey --)

Change the htt:// to http:// and it works.

Those look extremely handy and possibly life-saving.

That mod to the link works. Now, all I need is a hoist to get the well riser (all 350 feet) and pump out of the way. In a shallow well, that bucket would be a good thing.
