I put in an order for some freeze dried foods. I also stocked 50 rounds of 30-06, 1100 .22 and just 100 9mm. I also stashed a couple hundred dollars in rolled coins.

Most importantly, I finally got that only winco generator running. Its not perfect, but its much improved. I still need to make some adjustments.

I can finally take diapers out of storage and put them into use, as our youngest daughter is now on the path to the potty. :)

3 more gallons of brown lentils. there are about 25 lb. still at the state road 14 big lots and i did not check the one on hwy 64. i'm down to 4 empty paint cans. guess i'll call the hardware store and get another case of them and a case of Lye for making soap.

this brings the grand food totals to

9 gal. dried brown lentils (65 lb.)
    4 gal. pinto beans
    1 gal. putple hulls
    2 gal. black beans
    5 gal. sugar
    6 gal rice
    5 gal A.P. flour
    2 gal noniodine salt
    2 gal whole bean coffee
5 cans of corned beaf hash
1 case of beef and bean chili (home canned)
    6 tins of sardines
cases and cases of jams, jellies, fruit butters, peaches and pears in syrup, pickles, chipolte, green beans, green tomato relish, and home made hot sauce

i'd feel a lot better with a couple cases of hot packed venison pints. a couple 5 gallon water carriers would be nice too.

any suggestions for the next 40 gallons? money is an extreme limiting factor.

Being EXTREMELY broke we've only put away a couple of 12 pack cases of Ramen. Still it's better than nothing! lol

Having set up the MC tire stand last month, this month I added the Air Impact Tool Set and set of large Deep Sockets for same. Came in real handy changing the front sprocket last night!
I'm hoping by the time TSHTF and I lose my State job, I'll have a decent shade-tree MC shop set up. There is NONE on my side of the county, and a lot of riders out here!

Got some of the those instant cold packs (break the chemical and you get an ice pack) and a case of Mainstay 3-day emergency food (10 packs, each pack is a 3 day supply of "food").

Other than that, just putting away more canned goods, beans and lentils.

In one put tire patching supplies. Candle wax for another one. If you can find someone that is cooking down molasses you can pack it in one wile it is still hot and the same for maple syrup. Make sure you fill one with sulfur. Pack one with OTCs. Nails.

great suggestions westpointmag. i have a few 18 gallon tote boxes in the garage. 5 minute in my garage cleaning shelves should net me most of that. a can of OTCs is a great idea.

Friday evening, I helped a co-worker move some heavy furniture to her Mom's place for a big yard sale. I found some items of interest, and scored an 'early coup'....
A self-propelled lawn mower that 'was running when stored three years ago' - if all goes well, I can clean it out and have a good motor for a generator project.
Many boxes of older but good-condition shotshells - her Daddy had passed away a few months ago, and had them stashed.
A case of mixed-size canning jars.

And my 'payment' for helping to move - one of her exceptional chocolate layer cakes! THAT will NOT be stored...... [lolol]

4 cases of 15 6" pillar candles. These are "Holiday Scented" candles but I can't complain about the price - FREE!

"WE" lost a lot of Ramen noodles due to spoliage from the use by date: only 2 1/2 months past!
    Not good!
Now I'll have to step back and look at this item again, and make the deicison of whether or not to even buy them now.
