I just had a meeting yesterday and entered a debate about school/elected officials/oversite comm's and found myself sounding the same (valid points made or not). I fear I shocked some sheeples (heh heh).

Man, I hate when I hear a song with a catchy tune and can't find it. The problems with trying to find it are:

I don't know who sings it.
I don't know what the words are because it is almost unintelligible.
I can't quite remember how the tune goes.
I don't know the radio station it plays on.

Don't tell my CO. He'll think I'm no good at observation. Haha.

I WON! REALLY! I entered the monthly drawing for free grips on the Crimson Trace web site and got the call today that I had won a fre set of Crimson Trace laser grips. I dont have a handgun yet for concealed carry that they will fit so got the ones for Tinas Barreta 92 FS, figure I can still play with them from time to time at least and be SURE I like them before spending the money for them and a gun for CCW that they fit. Still hopeing they will come out with them for my Bersas.

I wonder if that light ever goes out in the refrigerator?

I wonder why every time some a-hole dies they always say he's in a better place now in heaven with the Lord. Man oh Man heaven sure must be full of A-holes then?

I wonder why golf is just like life, you spend 4 hours handling your shaft just to end up putting a small object into a little hole and your broke at tired at the end of the day?

I wonder why my wife isn't required to put the toilet seat up after she uses it. I was always taught to put things up when I was done using them right?

I wonder why revolvers always hold 50 to 100 rounds in them before they require reloading in movies?

I wonder why it's a ritual among grade school boys to successfully learn and execute the notorious arm pitt fart before they pass the third grade?

    A Texan's opinion

    T. B. Bechtel, a part-time City Councilman from ffice:smarttags" /><?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com[IMG]<st1:City w:st="on">Midland</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st="on">TX</st1:State></st1:place> , was asked on a local live radio talk show, just what he thought of the allegations of torture of the Iraqi prisoners. His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.
'If hooking up an Iraqi prisoner's balls to a car's battery cables will save one Texas GI's life, then I have just three things to say,
    'Red is positive'
    'Black is negative'
<FONT size=3>'Make sure his balls are wet.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com[IMG]He was ejected from the radio studio but audience reaction was positive and thunderous.

I was given the day off today for some reason that escaped me, so I got my hunting clothing on, grabbed my Sauer 90 in .308 Win., & the Glock, hunting rucksack, off to the car.

I set off and decided I was going to be out for a few hour's, and as the temp was 24°C already I nipped into a super market and bought some rolls and meat paste for lunch. I drove out until I was roughly in the middle of the hunt and set off. No hurry, nice and easy, taking in more of nature than you usually do when walking at a normal pace. After a few mile's in about as many hours I was hot and hungry and also on the very limit of my hunting area.

I had lunch and was taking in the greenery and decided that if there was a source of water local it would make a good bug out position. Even for training purposes (for the boys) it would be more than ample, loads of squirrels to choose from, one tastier than the other, and a few wood pigeon's. I'll be doing a closer recon in the near future, to see if there is a water supply. If not we will have fun making stills and bagging tree branches to supplement what we carry in.

Will my 8 & 10 year old sons have a problem adjusting to no Play station computer mobile phones etc etc, probably, I'll start them off slow, just an over nighter to start with.

The training syllabus will be kept to a basic minimum, how to:-
    build a shelter,
    start a fire,
    catch or shoot food,
    preparing and cooking the meal,
    good camp discipline, latrine etc.

Then a night navigation exercise, to be done tactically passing through several checkpoint's and returning before midnight, probably with a command task or two thrown in just to keep them busy.

IN MY DREAMS, I'll just try to teach them something but mainly I'll be enjoying having both of my sons out in my environment, being able to teach them something other than the stuff that they learn in school. I spend way to little with them as it is. Summer break coming up in a couple of months.

Andy great pictures pal, maybe you'd like to re-size them so that they fit on my 15" monitor, Thanks.

    Andy -

Open them in PaintShop which comes with M$. You can change the size there and save them resized. Once done with that, edit your post.

    OR:
Download Irfanview, a freebie that works similarly but easier.

    OR:
Let me know and I'll have a try from here.

Irfanview is about as idiot proof an image reading/editing software as they come. FAR less bells and whistles than PaintShop or Photoshop, but EZ to use, quite handy. (Were it not easy, I'd be in trouble up to my lower sphincter.)

Dang, Im jelous. Ive been trying for about 11 months now to get out on the oil rigs or boats to work, mostly going for cook positions but also trying for some of the anchor handleing, OS deckhand and so on. Being out of work blows, especialy around here where there arent really any jobs unless its medical. Oh well, have signed up with an employment service that is supposed to find me a job for a couple weeks of my pay so maybe that will come through and other than that a guy I know localy is supposed to be running a soon to open bail bonds office not too far off and has said I can probably get on with him doing bounty hunting.

alright i tryed to resize these pictures with no great results.

i tryed with paint i could get the pic smaller but there were these big empty white voids around the borders had i posted the pics they would have been smaller but there would have been these massive empty spaces on the bottem and right side

and i'm not suppost to down load programs on to Gov. Computers...

ghrit i might have to take you up on that offer to help. just let me know what i have to do...
