At a thrift store I bought a Coleman 2 burner white gas stove for $1.49, a stethoscope for $0.29 and a thing {never been used} that holds a fish so you can grill it for $0.59. The stove works but needs clean and the metal on the bottom straitened but it had fuel in it and it fired right up after a few pumps.

You know me and you know town - which do you think more likely?

(They're at Yvi's with a nice doe they just got until we get moved, and then we'll decide 'living arrangements'.)

At least you have a place to put the bodies until you can get to the pig farm --

I finally checked out the "Save-a-Lot" store, and got another ten pounds of rice (nearly half price compared to Publix!) and a dozen Ramen Noodle packets.
    Next week, I get serious.....

At the thrift store I bought a new purse. It is black, has 9 compartments that will each hold 3 - 30 or 40 round AK mags and has Velcro to hold the handles to gather. $0.59 and still has all of the tags on it. I have 4 purses now that will hold mags and ammo. When the SHTF look for me I will be the guy carrying a purse.

Oh, But "If" I had only the time and the MONEY to put more back.....
Right now I am trying to get things set for a rather fast, and QUIET, move from where I currently live, to another area.
It's going to cost "US" about $1,500.00 a month....not so bad for 2 familys, I hope!
But there is a good side to the move, or I wouldn't be even considering doing so....
The land is nearly 1/3 acre of open ground, a 6ft block wall around the area, and a 5 bedroom, 2 bath, ( have to make another one!), home, and a double enclosed garage!
With a "WORKING" Fireplace, and, I can get all 4 vans and "OUR" trailer, on a slab in the rear set up for RV's.
There was a fire here yesterday, in the current neighborhood, 2 homes were LOST...
    1) Due to the NEW owners using candles for light! They paid $6,000. for a piece of junk, "mobile home".
    2) Those owners had NO insurance as they were ILLEGALS.
    3) The 2nd home burned, as there was NO water for the fire trucks! The State inspectors failed to notice that the illegals they hired to do road construction for the Dept. of Transportation here, fenced off the hydrant and it was totally concealed from view~!
    4) My home nearly burned a few years back due to druggies in the area!
    Time to get outta Dodge!
