That looks exactly like every Pizza Hut in North Carolina
from the beach to Charlotte.

 

Except it seems now ,, few of them have the Buffet bar anymore. The one in Wadesboro ,, they use the buffet bar to stack all their pizza boxes on .
And the Pizza Hut between Southport and Oak Island had been closed for a few years ,, recently,, they bulldozed it ,, and built a CookOut burger joint.
They're turning in to a sign of the past.

 

I graduated in 1975. And ditto to that list.

 

Now why didn't the Marine Corps teach us this ,, we could have heated our sea rats with them ???

 

Then the Jarheads wouldn't have anything to snack on later. (joke, I'm exNavy)

 

I'm gonna have to experiment with this ,, for the heck of it ,,,
But in Boot Camp ,, when we were out in the field one night ,, when we were out on our 7-10 day combat field training and force marches ,, we all had one of them old canvas tent halves ,,, you had to have a partner with another tent half to have a full tent. One night it rained like shit,,,, all night ,, and cold ,,, me and my buddy got the bright idea of .making some coffee in our canteen cups ,, it was around 0200 ,, cold ,,, and pouring down rain ,, ,, we stuck our canteen cups outside the tent ,, let the rain fill them up with water,, made ourselves a little pit with some rocks to set our canteen cups on ,, inside the tent. Once the cups were full ,, we took the old heat tabs ,, lit them up ,, and said to each other that we might just get some heat in our tents as well .
Yep ,,, we thought we was the smartest boots in the platoon. Till them tabs got to burning good ,, and we started gagging to death on the fumes.
We had to pour the water on the heat tabs ,, cover them with dirt ,,, sling open both ends of our tent ,, to get fresh air so we could breath ,,, coughing and gagging the whole freeking time,,, praying we didn't wake up one of the DI's ,, so we didn't get our asses PT'd at 0230 in a freeking rain storm .
We lucked up and lived thru it.
And funny thing about ,,, after that night ,,, I never have a shit about coffee ,, till maybe 5-10 yrs ago.
But ,, the whole point of the story was ,,, maybe them crayons aren't as toxic as them old heat tabs.
