I usually keep some lifeboat type food and water in mine as well as some multivitamins. A woobie is also a good addition. I keep a spare pair of glasses since I wear glasses as well as extra pair of socks. Some things change depending on season.

  3. Contents rotation...absolutely. Remember 2 is 1 and 1 is none. Overall you have the right idea.

Here's a question,,, I drive pickups ,, work construction,, so I have a toolbox on all but one truck,, the tool box is probably the safest spot ,, but its full of tools , how would you go about securing your GHB in your truck ?
Done been broke into once,, lost a pistol and Id's and bank cards,, not sure you've got an answer,, but don't hurt to ask .

  8. Brother, I really do not have an answer that would satisfy your question, but I will say this... Carry your pistol bank cards, and ID on you at all times. I also carry things then I can throw on top of my GHB to hide it when I have it with me.And I never have had a problem with a break in. Although one time quite some time ago I did catch a couple of idiots looking inside my vehicle before I bought my new truck and I asked them, it'd say we're looking for something in particular while posturing myself to let them know that, uh, they should not venture any further and they left. I hope this helps.

The best thing about working from home is .. I don't need a loadout like that.
What I throw into the vehicle depends on the adventure I'm on.
These would be more like a BugOut bag where i had to get out of town for an extended period of time.
EDC or GHB .. i'd be carrying about 20-25 percent of those items. Possibly even less.

  10. I work from home. Also it's called being retired. And the contents of that get home bag? Okay, i've been working on i put together years ago. It's all-in-one place, and that was the purpose of that bag.. I very rarely venture far from home anymore. Because there really is no need for me to do that. The grocery store... the gas station... the pharmacy... and once a month to the range where I train and compete at. The most driving I do is during deer season and that isn't all that much driving.

Yes sir ,, I agree ,, I appreciate your response,, I'm always looking for ideas. I'm thinking of getting one of them lock boxes, keyed or coded , that can be bolted to the floor ,, that may work for smaller stuff.
    Anyway ,,thanks again.

Depending on the truck.. one of these is a pretty good idea. Most thieves aren't gonna bother with this, prolly won't even lift the seat to look. One thing however... paint the lockface black. That way it stays hidden in shadow. Also, get a 20L pack from the goodwill and fill it with old broken tech... stuff you don't want but still have (we all have broken game controllers and stuff). Toss that on the back seat. Thief will see that and snatch it up and go... and you've gotten rid of the junk. :D
