Go in, hold your can, finger it, buy it and wait a few days for the paperwork, This buying crap of the interwebz is the fastest way to get ripped off !

Move on or not? Normally the manufacture will charge as much as the dealer, Lotsa diddly squat manufactures popped up in recent years. I'd shop around more after being jacked as long as you have, but hey in the end it's not my money being spent.
I hunt with a 45/70, The 46M fits the bill.

If you do not mind could you please expand on this topic? Since when I asked two suppressor places none could give me this information.

I understand that a 224 bullet would be hard to suppress in a .452 can! From what I read 224 is just hard or difficult to suppress unless you buy a dedicated. Just read that.

I have not had the chance to read or hear anything saying that spending $200+ suppressor is worth the money vs the multi caliber suppressors. I also haven't read anything the opposite also.

Do I want more than one? Of course I do! Yet can only afford one right now unless I can find two with tax stamps that would be better.

I'm asking you advice because you made that statement about the sound suppression and it intended me I wrote to suppressor stores and both blow off the question so now I'd like to hear from you! Also thank you!

not sure if this will help. a .22 cal projectile going through a .30 cal can [suppresor] will have more space around the proj so more gas, more noise. its not much. 223/556 is mostly hypersonic and going to have a crack when it breaks the sound barrier at around 1,050 feet per second. 300 black out has subsonic and hypersonic ammo choices. sub is quiet, hyper not so much.
    the type of ammo matters.
,,,,, maybe skin a bunny or coyote to start. i never skined a hog but i bet they are tough like bears.

Lots of suppressors will work across calibers, but you have to decide if you want to go with adequate results or only the very best. To some, disguising the sound and muffling it is enough because it serves the main purpose. To others who want only the very best and want to maximize the suppression, it's a solid choice to go with a properly sized can and subsonic ammo. Then there's heat release and long term stability, and this will vary due to manufacturing and materials used in the construction. You can achieve moderate to excellent results with an adequate oil filter and thread adapter, for example. Sure, it's a temporary can, but it works. All we really need is a way to get the Federal Goons off our backs and we can see a market where these suppressors are more affordable, or people can make them and use them freely. As of right now, it's only legal if you pay a tax on every suppressor...and be fingerprinted.
