What's your great concern/fear surviving Invasion?

Yes, I know.... Complete hypothetical.... but play along.

Have any of you seen "Man in the High Castle"? Western North America, now part of the "Japanese Pacific States", Eastern and Midwestern North America is a colony controlled by the Greater Nazi Reich and A Neutral Zone, which encompasses the Rocky Mountains, serves as a buffer zone. Anyway, America is invaded post-WW2.

Or, maybe you have seen "Red Dawn".

This thought crosses my mind at least once a month. Every great empire falls and fails. Its not if, but when and it seems there are some that are hell bent to accelerate and make it happen to America. Trump appears to be blowing the plans of the Deep State, WEF, etc.... But it will happen one day.

So, what is your greatest concern to surviving an invading force? It could be that European Force with Blue Helmets or it could be 20 million Chinese Soldiers. America will be very, very difficult to conquer with 300 million private own guns and ammo out there, but the technology militaries have now is deeply concerning.

#1 for me are drones with multiple sensors and cameras and either an explosive device or a mounted gun of some sort and powerful AI software. It will be nearly impossible to evade a dozen drones looking for me and I am certainly dead if they send 100. That is short of living deep in a cave ........

Drones bother me, because I live very rural, deep in the country backing up against 100's of thousands of acres of federal land. The days of somebody going Rambo and hiding in the woods is quickly drawing to a close with drone technology, in my opinion. It might actually be easier to survive in a urban situation, where buildings are abundant and there are a lot of people.

What's your concern/fear if America falls and do you have a plan?

My BOL is very well stocked, but if I were "found out" and attacked, I can certainly go mobile, but it would be very, very hard leaving everything behind.

PS. Right now, anyone can hear a drone coming from a good distance. They are pretty noisy. But holy cow... what about these completely silent ones that have invaded New Jersey?

The thing I dread most is having to kill some one.
The closest thing I have been to armed conflict is airsoft and computer games.
I have hunted dangerous animals, but they are not armed.
With in most combat events my shots are non-lethal initially so as to disable the opponent but being a fantasy, the idea of giving some one the opportunity to rethink their life choices in a combat environment might be a bit of a stretch.

No, no specific plan, just the normal emergency preparedness stuff for food, water, power, etc. I think should America fall in this fashion, specifically invasion, in would be from within - meaning - the government's boot. Invasion from outside the country ranks with me about the same as an alien invasion - I mean - it's possible but right up there with me winning the $1.2 Billion-dollar Powerball lottery. However, an invasion is an invasion so...

I don't think the invasion would last long given the size of the country, its armed citizens, and their strong belief in individual freedom and even nationalism. Now, the invaders would turn off the utilities such as power, water, sewage and communications and that in itself would gain them ground in a short amount of time but holding all the ground would be next to impossible. Think about it. How to deal with 330+ million pissed off Americans that are used to being treated as equals and individuals with rights in a land mass that is at least as big as Western Europe. The more you bring down the boot the more unruly the populous becomes as shown during Nazi occupation of Europe.

Anyway, to answer your question, no, we don't have a specific plan for invasion because it is about all we can do to prepare for the likely scenarios, economic collapse.

Our digital footprint connects us to others in our network. Every person we interact with online, or in-person with our phones nearby makes a connection. Posts on websites, voice calls, social media, encrypted or not are all data points being collected. I’d surmise that this information will be our undoing.

Not worried in the slightest with respect to:
    Being invaded nor nuked.
    A huge ass meteor.
    Yellowstone blowing her cool.
I can't do anything about any of these super unlikely events.

My biggest concern is runaway inflation causing food, supplies, services, energy and/or shelter to be unobtainium for all but the uber wealthy.
If the masses are ever unable to survive .. well shit the endtimes are here.

as for digital trail? Which one is the real me. I do my best to conduct searches for completely random items, click on links to products that I'll never use, turn on auto play next clip and just allow the algorithm to feed the blank machine what ever it wants. Throw noise into the machine to lower the probabilities. They'll still be able to make a link but there are also a lot of dead end rabbit holes to fall into as well. Also great when you order products for like 6 different families with their own needs. Pretty sure they think I'm like 80+ years old with bladder problem, balding, and have a yeast infection and arthritis and freaking love moonpies.

The turncoats and starvation will be your biggest enemies. Turncoats will soon identify anyone who has the will, means and desire to resist and controlling the food supply will ensure the greater number of the population is reliant on your new “Government” for day to day survival. Anyone who appears not reliant on the new benevolent authority will immediately be suspect and eventually found with something they shouldn’t have. Does not matter who is taking control (short of a planned genocide) they will own most like this.

What would an invading force want? They will want the corn belt, the mid-west. They would also like the gas and oil fields of west Texas, New Mexico, the Dakota's and Pennsylvania.

So maybe I have nothing to fear. Why would they care about a mountain man, out in the middle of the Rockies, not causing anyone any trouble?

Does no one have a concern about drones? All your hard work on a homestead and overnight, a swarm of drones renders you useless.

    Nope.
I'm not that interesting a target that someone is actually going send a drone swarm to my AO.
Seriously .. the only drone I'm afraid of is the township tax assessor or one run by the insurance company.

    EDIT added:
Additionally, drones aren't cheap. A fixed wing drone that can carry a few pounds of equipment (cameras or energetic payload) is going to cost a few thousand dollars and maybe 40 minutes of flight time from take off to target and back.

a multi rotor system robust enough to carry say 10 pounds of equipment is probably near the same flight time but be more maneuverable is going to cost 8-10k.

How many are they going to send 20? Is taking you out worth the cost of 60 to 200k? Yeah, nah. The drones ain't coming for me. I am not driving around a multi-million dollar piece of resistance.

Governments do have deep pockets and could employ drones to force compliance to their policies. Useful for spying on the population and even destroying means of producing food and power, but not a whole lot that Me, Myself and I can do about it except hide and survive.

What you really mean to say is, 'renders you dead'...
Well, some professors did try to warn us, I attach a 7-year-old video showing how future AI+drones can be utilized is pretty damn scary, especially since we don't have a counter to them even now. Given what we know publicly about AI and drones current state of technology and capabilities, not even the classified stuff, I would suggest that the video is now a reality, facial recognition, tied with basic GPS, wrapped up with basic AI - hell - it doesn't even have to be highly advanced AI. I think it's very doable now.

Why haven't they been used? I really don't know, probably international under the table agreements and threats, but I will give you odds they will be soon, then it is truly game-on. The perfect assassin. Really scary stuff...

Sci-Fi Short Film “Slaughterbots” | DUST - YouTube

EDIT: I did have one bright thought. I would imagine we would see a lot of politicians leave politics immediately. LOL! :ROFLMAO:
EDIT: Oh! Another bright note, drones really do have limited flight time, as @VisuTrac pointed out... but batteries are improving as is solar and AI and etc., so these assassins are coming, won't be long now until we see their first use. There is a reason Iran, China has invested so heavily in drone research. It's pretty damn cost effective for one reason...

Yeah, still not worried about slaughterbots either. Maybe 10 minutes flight time. Someone is going to have to have a reason to target you (you are greyman right). Then expend resources to find you, identify your routes and vulnerable areas (time and manpower), and then the logistics of launching multiple bots (more manpower cost).
Really .. am I that important to expend multiple thousands of man-hours of investigation, tracking and targeting?
Nope. Not going to happen. I'm seriously not that important. And realistically, none of us here are either.

I'm not wasting my energies on an infinitesimal small as to be for all intents and purposes to be a zero possibility.
Yes, tech can be scary but unless you are a leader of a rebellion, an active terrorist/anti-government group or a drug/arms king pin, they are not coming for you.
How technology could be used to take you out would be more benign. Like shutting off the power, gas, water and let the events happen. Not very glamourous, but way more effective than a hunter/killer drone everyday of the week and twice on sundays.

Another method of controlling us is to control our finances. Notice how we keep hearing warnings of our goobermint wanting a totally cashless society, our finances linked to our identities - virtual banking, your salary, pension, investments, savings, everything done digitally. If you become "troublesome", get their attention, they simply cut off all your finances. No buying anything - food, gas, electricity, property tax, rent - nada. You become a homeless vagrant. That is truly scary, and becoming all too real for most of us. This IS coming.
