Goody another fantasy that folks will hold up as historical.

Read an interview with the daughter of the producer. Hollywood libs were so pissed off about the movie and it success that he he was effectively blackballed. Red Dawn was his third success in a row and he never got another shot at a big movie again.

Cool! The original Red Dawn was one of my favorites as a kid, didn't like the new one so much... Wonder who is attacking us this time, probably Chinese, riding their drones in from a mothership sitting off our East Coast.

why else would I post it? - hasn't been a decent SHTF movie in forever - hope this one doesn't go sideways like Civil War or into some bullshit Obammy fantasy ....

 

Yeah, I didn't watch Civil War because when I watched the trailers and heard others speak about it, it sure seemed out of touch, sort of trying to play on the reality to catch those viewers that wanted something like this but stay within the Hollywood guidelines of Wokeness and their normal ethereal bull$hit. Anyway, I didn't go see it and don't regret my decision. No, I was just interested if you were involved with the film in any way.

 

Looks like a well done movie that tackles a couple of major ethical questions for an after event reality, basically a What do we do after TEOTWAWKI, how do we survive and thrive among others who are NOT among your group? Might be a good watch to see how they tackle the ethical issues of survival!

On another note that lines up, there is a new video game FPS sort of deal that looks like it might be pretty dang cool, it also tackles several ethical issues from a different perspective, but none the less asks the questions we should be asking!
State of Survival: Zombie War

 

The first part of the movie was kinda slow, although there were a few good moments. However, the street-to-street and monument-to-monument fighting in D.C. was great!

 

As long as me and mine survive, what's the issue?! I bet there is some dippy ending where they open the gates and let everyone in to share-and-share alike and all die together...and then the UN convoy shows up with food for all!

 

every time someone - that thinks they are a prepper - posts about "sharing" or handling refugees or allowing in tangent family/friends/ect >>>> I immediately chalk them up as certain Goners

NOW - is when you have to get your mind strait about what it will take to survive a serious SHTF >>> we don't get months of basic training indoctrination - no place to go getting realistic practicing - one-on-one training by a combat vet that has gone thru it - not even counseling to help make some of the ethical decisions required .....

you'll probably have to be the more than rock solid & last word command on what decisions are finally made - lives in your hands - and bucking plenty of resistance by your own family .....

video game helps you - go for it - I think it would do more to promote the necessary discussion - use that to sway the mindset the correct direction - at the very least create some doubt where none existed .....
