They finally got him! I was hoping he would get away with it. Turns out he wasn't as smart or as good as it first seemed, just lucky. He was eating at a McDonalds in Penn. when an employee recognized him and called police. He still had the fake ID and the gun on him. Turns out the reason the gun was jamming was because it was a 3-D gun, at least in part. He also had a three page "manifesto" ranting about the greed of corporate America.
I'd like to think that I could have gotten into NYC, done the deed, and got away without anyone seeing my face or leaving any trace evidence behind. I sure as hell would have made as many as he did!

Like I said, he made a lot of stupid mistakes. Me, I would have gotten into and out of NYC without anyone knowing that I was ever there. I would never have gone to a hotel. I would not have gone to Starbucks and never left any trash behind. No phone, not even a burner. I would have used a real gun. I would have worn a covid mask and nobody would have seen my face.
