At some point the fat ass slug Guv realized he had no way or the resources to enforce his pet law and what was it 98 out of 102 Counties refused to enforce or assist the State in enforcing it. LOL remember JB fuming and threatening to remove all of the Sheriffs that refused to enforce or assist...... One SI Sheriff responded with "It is not that easy fat boy." In my home County exactly 9 people Registered their black scary guns, I think it was Pope County that had the best compliance record with ONE person complying. This is not over YET, Guv Slug will do everything he can to get around any Fed Court Rulings using his rigged State Courts and in the end this one will end up in the US Supreme Court where likely a new precedent will be set further bitch slapping these Leftist States and Governors. Now we need to get the FOID Card Requirement into Federal Court and overturned. These are NOT State Issues these are Federal Constitutional Issues.
Now let's see if the state falls for the obvious trap and appeals. The best bet for the gun grabbers since they appear to want to deny rights to as many people for as long as they can and confuse people about guns laws would be to just to take the loss at the state level and do another ban in a few years that's totally different from the one that was struck down. That would made it so gun rights have to undo all the bans one state at a time, possibly multiple times for certain states meanwhile other states could pickup bans. But they don't know how to gracefully take a loss. Talking the bate means all it takes is a split in 2 circuits, it goes up to the supremes obviously they'll rule in favor of people's rights and all 7 or 8 awb states fall at once and all future bans are automatically dead on arrival. Doing it this way they'll ultimately lose a lot faster.

The crazy Leftists don't want me as their Governor. I'd sign into law an order which says "Any person, entity, company, corporation, or affiliated source attempting to limit, hinder, amend, or abolish the Second Amendment to these United States or even submit legislation to the same shall immediately be deemed a hostile enemy of the People. Every Citizen of this State from this day forward are hereby sworn in as lawful deputies with one special privilege, to shoot on sight any hostile enemies of this State." And then I'd run a fund asking the public of said State to donate a few Dollars each until it reaches 3 million Dollars and keep that money in escrow. I will then instruct the treasurer to pay out the full sum to the lucky winner who manages to shoot the bastard first. I'd really like to see them try to take our guns then.

I've never heard of a single arrest using the Bill - the registration part was 99.9% ignored - couple hundred clucks and worried LEOs >>> everybody knew the entire thing was illegal and didn't want any involvement with the ID exposure ..... besides this bill that SCOTUS will squash eventually - the FOID program will be demolished - also Trump is going to sign a nationwide CCW reciprocity law - uniform the gun carry across all the borders - "Trump" the IL Congress that can't pass one themselves - remove the MAJOR HEADACHE from the state law enforcement across IL and the Country .....
