Now that Biden has decided not to seek re-election has turned this into a completely new race. Granted, most think that Trump is a sure winner. I'm not so sure. I could see the democratic machine pull out every marker that they have been holding for decades and calling it in now for this race. Harris will in my estimation pick Senator Mark Kelly .. he's an Amerikan hero Astronaut and his wife Gabby was also shot by an attempted assassin. She could pick Michigan gov Whitless (god help is this woman has ruined this state) or LOL, Newsome and god help us because Amerika will become Kalipornia. I think that this election is going to have the biggest turn out we've ever seen and all the hot button issues are going to come out Abortion, SS/Medicare, Gun control, Student Loans forgiveness, affordable health care and the supreme court. This is going to be the bread and butter of the democrats strong points. The republicans are going to be having to keep addressing this all the way to the election night. Previously, it was an easy task, just bring up that Biden is in mental decline. Trump wins in a landslide. Now .. not such an easy task. So, if you think it's going to be a Trump Landslide in November, I'd hedge your bet by stacking the preps, cash and what not for the fun we are going to have for the next 4 years. And if Trump actually does prevail, well, you've still got your preps.
Congress needs to be flipped to make any real improvements in this country. But a prez alone can sure jack things up.
Now the Dems can re-write their playbook from the ground up. They already know who they are running against and what the platform of the enemy is. Truthfully, it is almost a brilliant move for Biden to drop out in the face of low numbers and allow the Dems to build a new campaign.
What most people are forgetting is that Biden didn't get us into this mess. He has never been capable of running things. His handlers are the ones, for whatever reason, that got us into the shape we are in and they have never been senile nor do they lack both positions of power and a lot of money. Vance may be OK, but he is not Trump and has a lot of the liberal wing of the Republican party problems. He is not a Romney, but he is more "comfortable" in the swamp than Trump. Might be that if Trump wins there will be a lot of fuss, but the real powers will figure out that he well may die or be "encouraged" to do so and they can live with Vance. Don't know the facts and is well above my pay grade, so I can't even give you odds. Still think the swamp attitude is heads I win, tails you lose, Been that way since Clinton took office and I am afraid it would be much worse if Carter hadn't been selected. Such a wimp and honest enough that even the swamp couldn't keep in power.
I actually don't think most people don't know it's not Biden. I suspect they now have an idea that the president isn't running the show but it's just an inkling.
Changing to anyone other than Biden will bring in a lot of yellow dog democrats to the voting booths that might stayed home otherwise.
I do not see good things coming in the next 6 months. None. I do see a lot of possibilities, all bad. Add in a few million illegals, and things just get worse. Makes me wish I was now living in Bell County, TX. At least my garden would be big enough to feed us....

It's gonna be messy and ugly no matter how this turns out. The corruption and turmoil meter has been incrementally turned up for decades, since the Gore V. Bush scandal with each election becoming more controversial. The 2020 coup has dealt a serious blow to our traditional voting beliefs, and many are still numb from it all. Even if the majority of People do vote for Trump in a call to save America, an effort that is "too big to rig", we will have 4 years to clean up so much damage and run non-stop trials for all of these criminals in Washington it becomes daunting to say the least. The radicals have had time to prepare for the worst, and every indicator points toward massive civil unrest fueled by a CIA media and tens of millions of illegals to burn, pillage, and murder. Just how much can be accomplished in a single term with every card in the deck stacked against us? Obviously, any momentum from a Trump victory will have to be carried forward, and the road to making America great again will certainly be paved with land mines. It really doesn't matter who the Democrats have running. Right now, their best chance is to keep Harris and make her President by means of succession, after Biden is in a box. I don't particularly like this scenario, but it's the only way to grant Harris the image she will need to carry forward in a "victory" which will certainly be brought to you by Pfizer and protected by electronic voting, which is sound and honest (sarcasm).
