IMHO this not even a good thing to think much less say...

 

As a kid in the 1960s, I'd have loved to have one of these! Sadly never got one. I did have a spring action Tommygun, which I really liked, as I was a big fan of the TV series "COMBAT!"

 

RE: post62161. Didn't John Wayne smash one of these in the movie "The Green Barrets"?(sic)

 

Not sure if he smashed a real M16, or a Mattel M16 Marauder, but yes, he smashed one of them.

 

..... yes the .50BMG sized magazine was the give away ..
