Indeed, clearing much of the previous owner's goods and chattels will take a while to clear. There may be stuff that is useful which may be kept, and other stuff that may go to auction or a local charity, (back loaded when shopping for food and other necessities). In some ways, repurposing an abandoned property may be a chore, but in other ways it can also be an adventure of discovery.
