I watched the debates last night, and President Joe Biden did poorly, to put it mildly. It's no secret that I support President Donald Trump (GOD, but I love saying that) and he did very good. Now Joe may have a cold and have been off his game, but last night's performance has Democrats wondering if they have hitched their wagon to a dead or dying horse. We will have to wait and see if Biden can recover before the convention...and the next debate...and the election.
Nope. Don't have a television. Wouldn't watch if I did. Not good for my blood pressure. I'll hear all about it for about a week.

I will listen to it today while I work. I guess there is a limit to how fast a horse will run no matter how much juice you shoot into him. IMO the debate was so early so if Biden blew it they could weasel in Newsom, Whitmer, or Obama as replacements. No way can Harris win and none of them will take her as VP. If I had to bet it will be Newsom/Obama. Before I listen I'm going to ping a few moderates and lefties on their take.
Frankly, I think this was planned to get rid of Biden, to ensure he doesn't run. Let's face it, why are we have face-to-face debate this early? Why are the Democratic forces, which supported him completely with blatant lies suddenly speaking truth? He wouldn't sit down so now they are going to force him to do so. I have no idea who will be the Democratic candidate but the only one I fear is Michele Obama - good speaker, smart, well known, black, woman, with no bad marks against her because she has done nothing, and she can bring donor money into the campaign. I think she can give Trump trouble. In fact, I am not sure he can beat her...but that might just be fear talking because I damn afraid of her. My gut has told me this for the past year and, yeah, I'm afraid of her...and you should be too. EDIT: And, if you think she can't gain traction because she lacks political leadership experience then I would ask that you look at Hillary Clinton who became the Sec of State then the leading Democrat Presidential candidate. What credentials did she have? EDIT: Also, no, I did not watch the debate. Why bother as I knew what would happen just as the Democrat sponsors knew. I just watched the highlights this morning...

I've been watching the talking heads overseas. (I love streaming access) They universally called the debate a 'disaster' for Biden. The clips I saw should be more than enough for a 25th Amendment call in this next week.
The talking heads are saying that the only way for the Democrats to replace Joe Biden is for Biden to step-aside, but that isn't true. If he were to die or be in a coma until...Thanksgiving, then the Democrats could select another candidate. I wonder which it will be?
