Having returned form my trip, my contact is Dallas is building a 5 acre lagoon. They are using some kind of liner for theirs. Said it should last about 25 years.

WAAAAYYY cheaper than buying, I suspect. Saffron is super expensive. About two decades, a student of mine gifted me a bag of saffron. He was a chef and a tempo teacher. Knowing I am a foodie, he gave me his generous gift. When I told him I couldn't take something so expensive, he told me that as a chef, he was given so much of it that he wouldn't be able to use it in his lifetime. I see his point. I use it from time to time and in that time, have not used it up yet.

That sounds amazing! I had priced out a liner when we first got here and got a quote for someone who was willing to work on it, but the shipping cost was super high.

How much liner do you need? I can check if the company I deal with has some extra cut off.

Hello @Cruisin Sloth! It's always nice to hear updates from you. What are you planting? This year, the bush beans and peppers are doing really well. I even got some ice cream beans for the first time ever.

@Cruisin Sloth your garden sounds amazing and I'm really looking forward to seeing pictures soon! Thornless black berries sound amazing! I loved picking blackberries when I lived in WA state, but the thorns were always so brutal. I have mulberries here and appreciate the lack of thorns. I really should build a greenhouse to protect my berries. Otherwise, the birds feast on them as much as possible. I would love to get some blueberries this year, but I know that without the protection, they don't stand a chance.

Sage and rosemary is doing really well here. I would love to start growing Walking Egyptian Onions if I can find them. I also want to try garlic again. I think my soil wasn't deep enough the last time I tried it.

I've been busy picking lots of purple beans and peppers. And am currently bottle feeding some new born piglets.
More pics coming soon! Sadly, this herb and flower garden will have to move because we are switching from cesspool to septic and the new septic tank will be installed here this week.
