Starting this thread to provide a space to document the little things that show a collapsing civilization or a society. Example: Oakland has removed the traffic lights from one intersection and replaced them with 4-way stop signs due to people stealing copper and then tampering with an electrical box. It's a sight that has made drivers do a double take: a stop sign hanging overhead where a traffic light would normally be, located above the intersection of E. 12th Street and 16th Avenue in Oakland. Neighbors said city workers removed the all the traffic lights in the last week and replaced them with four-way stop signs. The installation came after months of people stealing copper wires and tampering with the city electrical boxes that supply power to the traffic lights. Legalizing Drug use, ZERO prosecution for any crime, especially theft and vandalism, revolving door multi tier justice system based on party and wealth, yea, were well and truly fooked! No rent controls, covid lockdowns, and lack of affordable housing combined with the wealthy californian expats who spread like a virous to areas where they can expand their wealth and buy up properties OVER market value, combined with a property tax based value that drives the locals out and onto the streets, yea, were fooked there too! No control of the homeless and flow of drugs, there are more and more people becoming homeless every day, and there is ZERO anyone in authority can/will do to help, though they spend millions and millions on the "Problem" which is actually a great big sham, all that money goes into the wealthy's pockets making things Worse, not better! Look at the cost of housing within the city limits, as well as the outer Tri-Counties, Multi-Co, Clackamas County, and Washington County, the cost of housing/rent is insanely expensive, and the property values are through the roof, NOBODY with a normal job and income can afford to live there, thanks to all the fucking californians, not to mention all the illegals who get paid by our friendly democraps and use that money to pay th ehyper inflated costs! Then we have all this WOKE bullshit, right is now wrong, good is now evil, normal is now abnormal, gay is forced upon us, trans is forced upon us, and everything is now upside down! Sin is the new norm, it's to be accepted and even promoted! Then we have the human trafficking, especially kids, it's really bad in Potland, REALLY BAD! I remember when The State of Oregon declared Trans to be Normal, and started heavily promoting it, actually pushing for trans rights, suddenly seeing all these trans people on the streets dressed up in their imaginations image of what they think a woman should look like, while women are having boob jobs and botox injections in their ass to make it way bigger, and then doing it to their faces, flat nasty I tell ya! Potland use to be the strip club capital of the nation, there were strip clubs on every corner, often times many within sight of each other, pick your kink, you could find it in Potland, there used to be a big time Queen Stripper Competition, and all the "Clubs" really got into it, they even had their own magazine, and big time, big money promotions, and all that, used to be, a stripper with all the right "Assets" could make a million bucks a year working 4 hours a night 4 or 5 nights a week, and for a long time, the city couldn't tax them, because they got paid in tips! There was al sorts of fighting over all the "Clubs" nobody wanted, yet those clubs were raking in the bucks at insane levels, so it would seem people were two faced about the whole thing! Then suddenly, the head lesbian kunt in charge, Kween K8 the Great dropped the hammer and drove all the clubs out, pick your crime, she went after them with a vengance and now there are only a hand full of clubs around, it's quite something really! I don't know how much the state lost in liquer sales and licences, let alone property taxes and leases, but it had to be YUGE! Those strip clubs were important, not in the way you think, those clubs helped keep crimes down, especially sex crimes, while drug crime was big, it was not even close to what it is now! I have no dog in tat fight, but I do know how big things exploded after they were all shut down!
Defunding the police causes a major spike in the crimes ,,, thefts ,, assaults,, and drugs . With no repercussions, you'll have folks stealing anything available for a buck ,, it's only going to get worse I believe. Ura-ki put a pretty good spin on it .

This weekend I went to a 1 year old's birthday party. I watched college grads (STEM types) struggling to figure out how to decorate both in design and application of plan. They just needed vague instructions on what to do and how to do it. Critical thinking was the challenge here. These are excellent kids and the ones that make you hopeful.
