Not at all...CNN and MSNBC et al are not immune, nor ought they be quarantined from being fact checked...and just as not all legacy media is inherently factual, it has to be said that the alt right 'reporting' can not be absolutely relied on as factual either. Breitbart does not enjoy much in the way of credibility, except to its uncritical consumers who are inclined to accept its offerings (whether factual or not) simply because Breitbart confirms their audience's biases and preferences....pretty much what is suggested of the 'lamestream media', by right wing critics..
Again, typical liberal misdirection. They don't debate the facts, merely try to discredit the source. Many sources have stories that directly quote and often link to the article being discussed. Infowars commonly does that. But post something from there and you get no rebuttal of the story, all you get is "That's Alex Jones!!!" Same with the article in question. It qoutes from the Associated Press and the New York Times but because it's on a right leaning website it's not "credible". Another leftist tactic, accuse the other side of doing what you do. They would have you think that people reading articles on those type of sites lack the skill of rational thinking and are unable to tell what is factual information and what is opinion. Every site places thier particular spin on stories but unfortunately the left just blindly accepts what they are told because it comes from a "credible" source. Look at how many repeatedly debunked lies about Trump that are still being reported and accepted as gospel by the rational impaired. Because it came from one of thier pet "credible sources". Trump called those killed on D Day suckers and losers. Lie, debunked many times He made fun of a disabled reporter. Lie, debunked He said white supremacists were fine people. And failed to condemn white supremacy. Lies, debunked But there are those without the mental acuity to sift through the bias and spin, and outright lies, who continue to believe and repeat such pablum.
