Yep, the usual deflection to avoid responsibility for his own idocratic pontifications: blame the CIA. It does have the benefit of feeding into the pre-existing paranoia of the CIA by Jones's audience.

 

Regardless of what you think about Jones he was targeted and set up.

That's not Alex Jones saying any of that's, it's some former spook turned security contractor bragging about his agency doing it.
They fed Alex Jones the information somehow to get him to believe that it was a hoax, they knew he wouldn't keep his mouth shut about it. In the US it's called entrapment and it's supposed to be illegal here.

 

Yes, The film clip is of someone claiming to to have purported knowledge of a scheme to deceive Alex Jones, but at the end of the day, Jones did not do any due diligence to verify and fact check the information given him. It seems to me that he uncritically accepted information that he was inclined to want to believe. It does not absolve him from responsibility of continuing to propound the hoax narrative well after the point that the Sandy Hook massacre was decisively proven to be not a hoax. Jones benefited considerably, both financially, and in the expansion of his audience and reach by amplifying the Hoax narrative. Jones really doesn't care about the harm that promoting the hoax narrative had done (and continues to do) to the families of the shooting victims, nor the Sandy Hook community. He only cares about his own fat hide and his wallet.

The poor ol' Alex Jones....victim of 'deep state' skullduggery narrative doesn't absolve Jones's defamatory rants about Sandy Hook for personal gain.

 

The more I see and read of the criminal Biden Misadministration, the more I realise, Alex Jones was RIGHT!
