    That'd be preferable, but this one works with any sort of weight. Parking a car on it makes it very solid. If I use it on a work bench I just clamp the far end to the bench.

    Don't get me wrong,, mounted to that plate is a great idea ,, not everyone has a truck ,, of course I don't know why they don't. :ROFLMAO:

    I had to test this...twice, and the best I could get was a loose knot.
    I think it's a great trick, but with ham hands and straw hair it just doesn't work for me.
    I have better luck braiding my hair, but not by much.

    I saw a fella welding up a hole in the top of a shipping container that was used as a shed in New Bern, NC. Might have been a little salt air exposure, but it still made me think that a roof over a container would be wise.
