Read a story once - supposedly true - about some nobody who printed up fake money, clearly not 'legal tender' - that he'd try to 'pay' for things with on the idea of it being 'art'! Most businesses rejected this crap, and insisted on real money.

Propane tank adapted to white gas, regular unleaded gas, kerosene, diesel, or a little of all of them. Coleman 237 lantern head will handle them all. There a small brass tube that runs down the 1/2" pipe from the lantern head to the bottom of the fuel tank.

These fittings are prettier, but harder to find.

 

It throws a good bright light with the benefit of a flexibility of fuel sources.

 

I can't be sure it was a cool trick, or that the stuff I'm interested in on EBay is just that boring, but while everybody was out voting on Super Tuesday I had zero competing bids coming in on the auctions I won or was watching. I missed one deal on a hundred year old fishbowl globe. There were a dozen or more watchers on these auctions, so the timing of their closing (drive time on election night) had to play some part.

The lack of competition was certainly cool.
