If I were a refugee, or were isolated due being in quarantine (for say, COVID) and low on food stocks, and a neighbour helped me out with that 14 day ration, as suggested in the University of Minnesota Extension .pdf, I'd be grateful, rather than berating the Minnesota researchers as clueless eggheads.

The ration regime would probably be far less than many Americans are used to consuming, but then again, for some, anything less than an obesity diet of KFC or Macs and Cokes would seem like starvation malnourishment.

Given the planned for scenario (COVID self or imposed Quarantine) where users are probably fairly sedentary, the menu plan would meet basic calorific requirements and vitamin nutrition, roughage, proteins etc etc....there is a risk of food fatigue if the menu lacks long term variety, but that could be avoided by substituting canned or packaged products. How about the Chello C,I,M,T, & V ration packs (Cracker, Indian, Middle Eastern, Tex/Mex, & Vegetarian) wherein there's a good variety of alternative options catered for?

Seriously, instead of attacking the Minnesota ration plan's designers, perhaps critiquing the menu plan itself, in which ways the plan is deficient, and perhaps what suggestions might improve it, or replace it as a better alternative.

Both Harbor Freight and Home Depot carry "High Volume" quick couplers which will perform better.
I converted to them a few years ago from what you've done.
They also perform better coupling and uncoupling.
Another trick I use is mini pressure regulators, (not flow control) on my spray guns and staplers and nailers.
Another trick I use when I have to run the air line a long way to do big truck tires using a 1" impact, is to provide a small tank the primary air line is connected to and a 10' 1/2" line to the tool from the tank. that gives me the burst of air necessary to break large lugs free.
Also, If you remove the drain cock off the bottom of the compressor tank and install a hose with a blow gun, you can first blow out the moisture more frequently and blow off any accumulated debris off the compressor as well.
A shot of WD40 in your air tools once in a while when you done using them will go a long way in keeping them ready to go.
If your impact wrenches have a oiling port plug , check it from time to time and don't over fill it.
To keep from breaking bolts off especially on cases and blocks, I take my hammer and strike the head smartly a few times to help shake things loose before using the impact on it. Small bolts especially.

 

I can think of a few places where old belts might be just the ticket for tool hangers.
