Just send a signal that disables the vehicle until they pay-up. It would save a lot of trouble for all concerned. A tow truck driver was killed in north Alabama recently while trying to repossess a car. Also, a man was killed by police recently as a tow truck driver was trying to repossess his vehicle, he can out of his house with a gun, confronted the police and was shot! He was Black, so they're making a big deal out of it!
There are an infinite number of ways that this technology could play out....for instance....suspects charged with insurrection (and associated offences) could be self driven to their arraignment booking. I saw the writing on the wall when electronic ignitions were introduced and then computers in cars. The fact that more and more machinery is being electronically/computer controlled man is getting dumber and dumber. The more something else thinks for you the less you are required to think, eventually we don't need you at all. I'm not joking.
