    Don't need Colorado.
I thought new Mexico was going to win "stupidest idea of the week". That victory was snatched away by Collarado.

Maybe they should have a trial first, otherwise Alabama and other states, could remove Joe Biden from the ballot for bribery!

"The Bonus Army Marchis a forgotten footnote of American history. It involved as many as 30,000 mostly unemployed veterans who converged on Washington, D.C. in the spring and summer of 1932 to demand an early cash payment of a bonus they were promised for their volunteer service in World War I" never got it .
The veterans were fired upon by police and 2 veterans were killed. President Hoover ordered the army to clear the veterans out --- which they did
Our government would not hesitate to shoot American citizens --you can bet on that

Yeah, I remember my grandmother telling me about this as a child. I then went and looked it up and was heartbroken to find my childhood heroes, Patton and Douglas MacArthur, were involved, had their soldiers fix bayonets, tore down their shacks and... the rest is history.

I agree our government would not hesitate, especially since they are only issuing orders and not pulling triggers; however, I think it is a mixed bag if the soldiers will follow those orders. I think the majority of soldiers will not. I think the majority of FBI and other agencies will...unless and/or until they realize people will not simply sit back and be murdered. Oh, they might get away with it once or twice but let's face it, the odds are too much against them, for every one of them there is 10, 20 or more of us. Furthermore, let's state and understand the obvious, the majority of us report to no one except God so no general discipline to control the masses. So, you can be sure there will be retaliations. Can those agents and their family members of the government continue to live in the communities after they helped bring the boot down? A snowball in hell would last longer and even if they didn't fear for themselves their families are vulnerable. So, all is good as long as they and we operate under the rule of law; however, Colorado shows that is at an end.

Please ol Lord, let us fight this now.
I don't want my children in this fight, though they are of age now....and they have served our nation as well. The younger generations don't have our skills, moxie, drive and love of country...bring it!!

The 14th Amendment has an expiration clause! It only excluded ex-Confederates from voting or holding office until July 4th of 1870! Congress passed the legislation in May of 1866 and sent it to the states for ratification, it became the 14th Amendment on July 9th of 1868. Five days shy of two years later the provision excluding ex-Confederate officers and officials expired! This should clear things up, or maybe muddy the water...it's the government!

At the end of the Civil War there were no trials for the Confederate rank and file, or officials, the Federal Government simply declared them guilty. President Andrew Johnson was eager to have show trials for treason and asked General Grant when they could start, NEVER! said Grant! Some Yankees were determined to reignite the Civil War and trials for treason would have done just that! The Federal Government even had to eventually drop the treason charges against President Jefferson Davis because of the likely hood that Davis would win!
