Fifty feet down the fence is another new sign.
At the top of the hill is a hazardous waste disposal warehouse.

 

Nope, wasn't a friend. Target of opportunity that the thief happened to have a key for it on his key ring. OSP told me that that year truck only had a dozen or so keys. Well I guess I now have a spare key. OSP kept the crack pipes but left the magic mushroom's bag on the back seat. They were picked up 50 miles south of my house while stealing high end bicycles in Gold Beach. When OSP ran the plates they discovered it was stolen. Got the truck back after that in three hours. The officers were very helpful, and had a good sense of humor. Found out about it from a friend in the local PD and called Gold Beach dispatch who told me they were just then taking the idiots into custody. So Gold Beach dispatch transferred me to local OSP dispatch who then tied me into the arresting officer. Pretty cool that... Dispatch was impressed that I called even before the report was filed. Good to have friends looking out for you.

I make wine from them every year. This year there just wasn't a crop from the drought.

I remember the S&W M76 that Charlton Heston had in Omega Man. This one's a clone, but still loads of fun.

I couldn't get on and off the trigger quick enough to get off just one round like I can on a STEN, but I could put two rounds at a time on target right where I was aiming. Very manageable., even with 3-5 round bursts.

 

The calm before the storm. Two hours later trash cans were blowing around, rain was sideways and targets were flattened.
