A24's chilling 'Civil War' trailer sees America tearing itself apart | Mashable Chilling, for so many reasons. Leftist projection? You tell me.
California and Texas allies in CW2? The writer's strike should have continued indefinitely to spare us this. I expected Hollywood to make it the blue states vs. the red states so they could larp beating the ignorant rednecks. you can bet that will be in there somewhere.
I have joined the great unwashed. The last time they raised the price of cable TV and wanted even more for a real bundle of channels, I dropped it. Been at least 15 years since I went to a movie in town, Don't subscribe to any pay channels on the net, so it is all hearsay to me. I have not and will not watch any of the debates or political sh**. Already know who I am voting against. No longer subscribe to a newspaper nor a magazine. I find it ever more difficult to actually use the net for information. More and more of the channels require that you register or pay a subscription fee. While the fee is small, in many cases a dollar a week or so, the chance that I will find $52 worth of viable articles in the LA Times or $1,000 or so in the others that I would look at, means that when the pay screen comes up, I hit the back arrow and have no idea of what the article said. I know that the MSM is going thru a crisis and that in the process of trying to figure out how to make a buck, most will fail. This is gradually morphing into the blogs as well, More and more are using the tier framework. A "free" set of posts and then some set of "premium" content. It isn't the amount, it is the multiple channels required for a semi rounded source of information. Again it is an attempt to continue to exist as the ad based pay system collapses Not trying to hijack the thread. Just saying in my usual long handed way that I will most likely never watch it and why. Don't have a you tube account, nor an X one either. Not a member of any of the so called social net works, and like many of the elderly drifting ever further from the information super hiway. Which in my biased mind seems to be heading straight to hell, the place, not the curse.
Theres a lot of disenfranchised conservative Californians out there. Maybe they took power the hard way.
That has to be it, cause I don't see the liberals taking over Texas! Texas is a BIG place! Also, don't forget that Florida is in the mix too! I'm hoping that Alabama is in the fight, as well! There were 19 states in rebellion! I saw the trailer, and was that the President they were dragging out from under his desk in the Oval Office? I got to see this movie!
After thinking about it some more, I think that after they over through the government the shadowy alliance of California, Texas, Florida and others will turn out to be Spanish speaking illegals and citizens! SURPRISE! SURPRISE! Remember, y'all heard it here first!
