Coleman had stuff fuel with white gas, kerosene, propane, butane and their own mix of propane and butane. They're all worth picking up. Only ones I avoid were made by Avon and have some terrible smelling cologne inside. (You've been warned!)

It's always good to have fuel options and even better to have light when the power goes off.
Now's the time to gather them up and start using them. That'll make it a lot safer and easier when it's necessary.

If you're going to run mantle lamps, it's never too late to invest in bulk shipments of mantles and fuel. Their shelf life is indefinite.

Lots of pictures and tech stuff in my albums. More at the Coleman Collector's Forum.

You hit a 300 lb halibut, you're going to wish you'd put in some of this kind of exercise time....

    More like a waterlogged mattress,.

I've seen a couple of fishing boats, using a winch on each, damn near roll over trying to land a 300+ lb monster.

The best tasing ones are smaller - like this. Fish tacos that night!

We kept the 35/50 lb ones and the wife's 105lb, meat was kinda grainy on her fish.
I blackened some of the filets in K-Pauls style for the SIL and brother.
This turned into a blackened halibut orgy with them trying to grab the filets out the frying pan.
I say ''blackened'' but medium shearing to a brown and dark brown was plenty good on 1'' to 1.5'' filets.
    Go for it!!!

Many moons ago I was with a unit overseas that issued aluminum wash basins. We only had running water one day out of four, and they were a great asset for washing up. I tried to find one for years and finally found a couple pan lids that would serve the purpose. I knocked the knobs off and usually use them for processing brass at the range, but they're very practical for wash basins.

Don't hold much water, but when you have to tote it in a bucket, you don't want to waste it.
