Israel and Hamas truce idiocy

I can remember my time in Vietnam when we seemed to have one truce after another for some idiot reason. All it did was allow the NVA to regroup and repair the Ho Chi Minh trail and bring down more supplies. Truce would end and the NVA fought just as hard. Hamas has not renounced their intention to destroy Israel --all you are doing is placate the left and allowing Hamas to regroup. Wars are not won with truces

 

Placate Iran and their homies, like China and Russia.

 

I think it comes down to the hostages...without the truce, they're soon to be dead. Hell, Hamas might be forcing the issue of a truce using the hostages for all we know because I am certain we are not getting the complete story or the complete truth.

Frankly, I was shocked to hear it was for 4 days as I was expecting 72 hours as a maximum (even that is long) so think that is Hamas playing for time, maybe even threats. Where I think Israel really screwed up was not demanding all the hostages now for a truce and I'm willing to bet Hamas wouldn't even consider it, so a middle ground was found to placate the West, especially the Americans because Hamas needs that Aid money and items to rebuild. America is so frigging naive and idiotic, always short-term thinking...disgusts me.

This country needs a real awakening and a new government from top to bottom. Talk about losing respect for it for seems they can't get anything right - nothing. Everything they touch, they screw up. They screwed the opportunity Ukraine had to win due to 'fear of escalation' which happened anyway so now they got an even worse situation. You know, I do not believe our government does a damn thing to improve our nation or us, the citizens....so why keep them. What use are they as they continue to make matters worse here and abroad on EVERYTHING. In all honesty, it is has got to the point that they must be tossed out and if that takes a revolution then so be it.

That's my rant for today, simply disgusted...

 

Israel seems to be towing the line to avoid looking bad on the world stage for some reason, I suspect because they know what a noodle back the U.S. has for a President right now.

 

Oh, one last thing, about, those American hostages...what about simply telling Hamas they got 24 hours to release them or else the U.S. Marines will come and get them...and they can forget about that aid money as well.

 

That would require a US government that cared about its people. We don't have one of those sadly.
We have the Grifter in Chief who is really 0bama's 3rd term.

 

Look what Bidumb did in the Afghanistan cut and run --this spineless POS would never go in and get our people. You are correct Gray Bear this is Obummers 3rd term and he is a Muslim Jew hater.

 

Some of you are old enough to remember when Carter bent the knee to Iran when the embassy was taken over and he called off the mission to rescue them when one of the helicopters crashed in the desert. It cost him and the Democrats severely and given the current domestic problems (economy, open border, banana republic judicial system, etc.), this will cost them even more.

And, these damn Republicans.... The Republicans should be screaming for the return of the American hostages but instead, both sides vote to give Hamas humanitarian aid. WTF? Has the US government lost what is left of their sanity? What about respect for the hostages' families, for the nation, that they would bend the knee to these murdering SOBs. They actually gave them aid and money?!?! My tax dollars? Disgusting and despicable. I wouldn't spit of them if they were on fire.

 

There is a reason NO other Arab country will allow hamas to live there. They will break every agreement they make. They can not be trusted. They are Amalek.

What pisses me off is we give supposed humanitarian aid to the people in Gaza who support Hamas who then buy weapons to kill Jews. Yet our veterans have to rely on private agencies for help. I say not one cent to any of these terrorists ever. Our people our veterans must come first there should never be a need for Wounded Warriors, Disabled Veterans, etc.

 

Carter (I voted for him once and regret it) was forced to call off the rescue mission when too few helicopters made it to Desert One. It was a textbook example of a cluster fuck. The operation was poorly and hastily conceived and planned, and everything, including the weather was against them. We were lucky that we only lost 8 men in a collision involving a helicopter and a C-130, as they were preparing to leave, it could have been much worse! Besides, the mission, at best, only hoped to rescue some of the hostages! It was just a ploy to get Carter re-elected!

 

I used to think Carter was the absolute worst president in my lifetime. Then 0bama came slithering on scene. I figured it was time to retire the trophy.
But then, along comes his idiot sidekick, who makes the other two look like Thomas Jefferson by comparison.
Sad, really.

 

I'm inclined to think Obama is having his 3rd run... and if his mates gets in there will be a 4th...

 

In my view Obummer is still the worst simply because has been calling the shot and demented Bidumb is just a sock puppet carrying out Obummers hatred for America.

 

You know, I am sick to death of giving ANY money to ANYONE overseas for ANYTHING! I mean it! Not a damn dollar should leave this country because 1. We are broke. 2. When money leaves the country it is very hard to track and you can bet a large portion of it is going into politicians and their cronies' pockets...just ask Biden and his son.

Yeah, there are good humanitarian reasons but sadly we don't have any money to give. Sorry. It is that simple and is a product of the U.S. government's corrupted and incompetent management for decades. This is another reason why a nation's financial house always should be in order, for emergencies, domestic and foreign.

 

We are beyond broke we are so far in debt there is absolutely no way we can ever pay it off and we can thank our politicians for that. The time will come when those we owe money to will demand payment and it won't be in worthless US dollars-it will be in government owned assets (even though anything the government believes they own belongs to WE THE PEOPLE). Could be gold the little we have, could be land. energy reserves.

 

How else does a Con-gressman become a multi-millionaire on $136k a year? Kickback from overseas money!

 

Yes! Talk about something needing investigating... Amazing how ALL of these politicians can become financial wizards only after a few years in office but not one has any financial talent when it comes to managing our government expenditures.

I don't think they will ever demand payment. Why should they since they are making a tidy profit from the interest, and it gives them power over the US.

 

If and when the dollar is replaced as a world currency (IMO it will at some point) and the value goes down countries we are in debt to will want something tangible not worthless paper
