I've been boots on the ground in Israel before, they have an entirely different mentality than most.

Its the only way they can survive.

They'll take care of business.

 

Yeah, but it's kinda like playing whack-a-mole, knock them down and they just pop right back up! Israel will take care of business, but they are going to have to be more vigilant in the future, also the IDF reservists can start by doing their training on the borders, that way there will always be hundreds of troops on the borders whenever there is trouble!

 

From my experience and observation its not that Israel is not vigilant or complacent. Its more of a matter of placating to the West and UN involved countries that coerce Israel into concessions and decisions that empower and bolster Hamas and Palestinians.

USS Liberty, it's what happens when you stick your nose into someone else's business! Whose brilliant idea was it to send virtually unarmed ships and their crews into harm's way...sonofabitch ought to be keel-hauled!

 

Sticking your nose into someone else's business seems to be a regular occurrence for our .gov . Been doing it for years .
And ,, sending troops in unarmed seems to be pretty common as well . They basically did exactly that in '83 in Beruit ,, and that cost us 241 service members one morning.
It seems our dipshit government is pretty consistent at doing stupid shit.
