My cousins husband a fellow Vietnam vet AF fighter pilot battled throat cancer and won but has been diagnosed with a different cancer and been given 6 months to a year. Come to find out pilots and ground crews have a much higher rate of all types for cancer, My cousin Sue and her husband Art have been together since high school, nicest guy you could ever meet. I'm praying he can beat this one too. your prayers for Art would be greatly appreciated. did a search found the following: A February 2023 Department of Defense study found that aircrews had a 24% higher rate of cancer of all types compared with the rest of Americans, for reasons that are not yet clear. Ground crew members were also found to have a 3% higher incidence of cancers of all types. The study followed more than 156,000 aircrew members and 730,000 ground crew members between 1992 and 2017. One of my old teachers found out form his doctor that her had a fist sized cancer that the doctor wanted to perform surgery to remove and then the usual follow up treatments. Teacher did not want to go that route. Doctor said he had to. He told the doctor to give him 30 days. During that time, he drank Jason Winters tea all the time. It is supposedly anti-cancer. After 30 days, the doctor could not find the cancer. Did a full body check in case it somehow moved. Nothing. I'm not prescribing anything. Just saying it worked for my teacher. And it's just tea. But teacher also had a powerful intention to fight the cancer and his intention is every bit as responsible as the tea, I think.
Praying for a full recovery, and if not that there is no pain. my heart reaches out to them and their family and loved ones.

Prayers on their way. Cancer much more likely due to the fuel the AF used (JP-4), up until the late 80's/early 90's, when they switched to JP-8. Nasty stuff, JP-4. Flash point of -20F (gasoline is -40F), so highly volatile. No telling what sort of additives the AF was putting in it, too. Buddy of mine was a POL (fuels troop), from mid 60's, thru 28 years until retirement (as an E-8). Used to have to refuel the SR-71's, with the JPTS (thermally stable jet fuel). VERY nasty stuff. And that plane leaked like a sieve, until it got up to speed, and everything sealed up.
