I think he missed one of the pages in the owners manual.

 

Much depends upon what one reads, and the degree to which one reads critically. Many read ancient religious texts frequently and extensively and are none the wiser for doing so. Reading without comprehension is no cure for ignorance.

 

There's a limit to which a sacrificial anode can be sacrificed before the outboard starts sacrificing itself to salt water corrosion.

 

I'm gonna guess that boat was left tied up to a dock and unused for quite a while.

 

Battery charger or trickle unit and the boat became hot from the system not being a pure isolation system , normal dip wads

 

I had so much experience with using Zinc anodes in the boating industry, that I add them to most all my steel welding projects.

 

I could see him saying that, too.
