The best outcome of Chansley's candidacy if he gets on the ballot, is to suck votes away from a MAGA Republican who might otherwise have won against a Democratic Party opponent. So, in a perverse way, we are both in agreement, if for different reasons. I doubt that Chansley would win enough votes to secure the seat for himself, but he could be instrumental in winning the seat for a Democrat. A patriot he is not..
