Every time I see those cylinders I think about line launching cannon. That one would be a slightly scaled down Lyle gun.

On my Navy ship we used M-14 rifles with cup- style grenade launcher, firing the big rubber bullet with light line. We received once from the tanker, and one of my shipmates took it to the chest, he hadn't taken cover. Knocked him to the deck! He gained the nickname "Flounder". Only thing hurt was his pride.

Raptor! The palms make me think this could be my old USAF base, Tyndall AFB, Fl, where the F-22A training squadron is stationed. They were hard hit by Hurricane Michael in Oct 2018. I left there in Jan. 1980, long before the Raptor was even on the drawing boards.

13,000 pennies to renovate an old floor. That's $2.56 per square foot for the pennies, then you have to flow the acrylic over them. I'd have to put a dime in there somewhere. ;)

I spend entire days wearing these and the ear pieces had become really uncomfortable. They had become squashed from being stored with the cups folded together in a case.

The trick I found was to leave them in a hot car for a couple days with the cups turned outward.
This allowed the flattened ear pieces to pop back out and restored their long-term comfort.

In the winter I could probably use a hair dryer to restore them if they got squashed.

I remember those "Totino's Pizza Rolls", Mom bought them for us in the early 1970s, my high school years. A quick easy lunch in the new toaster oven. I loved those things!
