Remember how I said Hornady xtp bullets were on sale last week? Looks like last weeks "sale price" is the new normal price.
Look out for reloaders and wantabe reloaders off loading shit they horded during the plandemic. I'm seeing about 1 post per day on the bigger gun websites where someone is trying to off load a pile. Someone was trying to off load 4,000 m193 bullets for around 12 cents each after shipping. They are usually selling pretty close to retail, minus most of the electronic surveillance. About the only thing I want m193 bullets for is loading my very accurate m193-223 H322 start loads. I still haven't touched the 1,000 I bought locally for $100.
Midway USA dot com has AR stoner 10 inch carbine length barrels in 5.56 for the low low price of $69.99. I'm pretty sure that's the lowest price I have ever seen them. A few other website have cut shorty barrel prices $20 to $50 lately. I have the inexplicable urge to make a car15, probably because I have a xm177 in nfa jail for several months now.
Start watching primers. Don't buy them now. Some time in the next year. Most of the big sellers have primers in stock for the first time in 3 years. Over on powder valley they have genix small rifle primers for $79 brick. Cheapest I have seen any small rifle primer since the start of the plandemic. So probably some time in the next year I'll buy cases. I want them to get down around $50 per brick. Which still sucks but only sucks half as much as $100 brick primers.
Inventory flow is backing up, piling up at distributors. Think of what you needed 3 years ago and buy some of that shit.
A month later and small pistol primers prices have fallen to 5 cents each if you buy a case of import primers. Small rifle are 5 and a half cents.
About as good as it's going to get. The lowest prices the big box stores had them for was around $50 a brick back around 2018. We have seen it can get a lot worse.
Well the 5.5 cent rifle primers were probably a one time sale. Nearly all of the 6.2 and 6.5 cent primers are gone and I'm mostly seeing them for 7 cents and up now. There's still a good supply of small pistol for now at 5 cents. I don think they ever dropped below 5 cents, not that I saw.
Good deal, anything on midwayusa dot com. I had a bunch of reloading bullets and AR parts in my cart as usual, got on today and the price for my cart has dropped about 20% compared to 2 days ago.
